This was recorded by a pond with frogs calling, birds chirping, and the occasional car passing by. There is a little bit of wind noise, (still learning how to make decent recordings). Those parts can be edited out.

Bad windstorm was came to pécel, hungary on 31st march 2012. I recorded some sounds caused by the wind, for example door shutting, trees whizzing, etc. I used sony stereo dictaphone, 44100 khz, 16 bits, stereo. I tried to minimize the rumbling sounds.

Winter wind in the phone-lines alongside a disused railway, now a footpath. This was made on what used to be the platform of a station,now very overgrown. The station shut down sixty years ago. Short recording, faded in and out. Zoom h1 using on-board mics.

I call this 'lunar wind' becuase its an affected sample that i think sounds like a unearthly wind. I recorded a real life wind and processed the signal with some heavy eq and compression. The sound is 100% continuous recording.

A wonderful background of a busy college campus during finals week. I love how the scattered fragments of conversation show inspiration in young people. You will also hear some beautiful wind, footsteps, and some recently arrived spring migrants who are just as excited about the new semester and the humans. Recorded in april of 2017 in a beautiful wooded walking path in the middle of a major midwest university. Listen, enjoy, and think back to the times when we were young, and excited about the future. . . . About learning new things. . . . I find this snapshot quite inspiring and invigorating. An entire country mansion was covered over with scaffold and sheeting to keep the rain off. Visitors were allowed to climb up the (many) metal stairs to an observation platform. I asked the helpful guide to be quiet whilst i recorded this odd environment! he obliged. Zoom h1 recorder.

This is the sound of a snare drum after i added reverb to it and slowed it down about -81 percent. By the way, this morning, i purchased a very interesting book entitled "harmonograph: a visual guide to the mathematics of music" by anthony ashton. I haven't read much of it yet, but it is explaining how eye-pleasing shapes can be created by utilizing vibrations and a harmonograph. I think you should check this book out. Made with audacity.

Just a sound of a person who smokes, not very good quality but playing with equalizer and other effects, you can have a nice final sound. I recorded this sound for a personal project with a very cheap microphone. But the final rendering was good.

This is a field recording on a sunday-night in frankfurt am main (d). Wind is in higher parts of the sky and audible due to the skyscrapers sharp edges. Quite an ambiance i think.

Pretty much i recorded this outside of my house in michigan. I recorded 4 seconds and copy and paste, so it is about 8 seconds. The first section is played normally then i copied it and made it play reversed. This sound is loopable and free to use.
